The Vermont Golf Association Scholarship Fund started its Bag Tag program in 2014 as a way to raise funds and say thank you for supporting our mission. The bag tag program will run from March through May. Click on the donate button, to choose from the bag tags available.
Families can select the Scholarship Fund as an option for donation in memory of a loved one who has passed away. The scholarship fund acknowledges such contributions, summarizes the gifts, provides a thank you letter to donors and a list of contributors to the family.
As an alumnus of the Scholarship Fund you have the opportunity to support future recipients of the award through making a donation. Your contribution is a testament to what receiving this award has meant to you. Your donation will be acknowledged and is tax deductible.
The scholarship fund welcomes all general donations from Individuals, corporations, foundations, golf organizations, or donor-advised funds. All donation go into our general fund and are used to provide scholarships to students who meet the qualifications set forth in our mission statement. All donations are acknowledged and are fully tax deductible.
Each year our annual Scholarship Fund Scramble is held in August as its featured fund-raising event. The event is an eighteen-hole four-person scramble format for up to 32 teams. Included with your entry fee is golf, cart, lunch and prizes. Options in support of the scramble include fielding a team, sign up as a silver, bronze, or Food & Beverage sponsor, or make a general donation in support of the Scramble.
