The game of golf has been a huge part of my life. For example, it has played a significant role in developing my character. Throughout my life I have always been involved in as many sports as I could be. What I learned is that no other sport teaches you the skills of hard work, sportsmanship, patience, and etiquette like golf does. These qualities are not just applicable to golf, but to life in general. Through playing golf, I have failed and I have made accomplishments. i learned that I can't have my best round all the time. However, I also learned that through hard work, I can be successful. Through the support of coaches, teammates, and community members, I have been a part of three state championships, and was titled the Caledonian Record's 2017-18 Women's Golfer of the Year.
